Day 248 – September 5 Safari In Botswana

On that Monday we had a full day safari planned at Chobe National Park / Game Reserve on the Chobe River in Botswana.  We spent the morning on the water and the afternoon on land in a truck, traveling through the bush.  We saw amazing birds (the bird below is the National Bird of Botswana), elephants, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, monkeys, baboons, buffalo, impala, warthogs…. list goes on and on!  If nothing else, that day at Chobe convinced me I absolutely have to try to get back for a full safari, deep in the bush.  It was absolutely incredible!
