Ahh… Christmas, the celebration of the birth of Jesus. It’s a wonderful day for families and friends to enjoy together in a variety of ways. One of those ways for me usually involves snow, having grown up in the northern part of the USA (Michigan) and now living back in the north. For some reason I think of the song “White Christmas” and Santa and his reindeer and all sorts of other things and they all involve snow. Yet when I woke up, all I saw was the brown/green grass and bare pavement. However, mid-day I was thrilled to see some flurries! I ran outside with my black lab, Tucker, and snapped a few photos of the nearly non-existent white stuff. Tucker felt it hitting his nose and enjoyed it, but he’s anxious for the big piles to romp through. Surprisingly, by later in the evening, the ground was covered. We had a white Christmas after all!
