Hi!
I’m Jean-Marie. I love photography and I started this blog for my photo a day project in 2011 and have decided to continue it with fun personal (and professional) photography challenges.
Why did I start this blog? Well, for starters, it was a great way to share my 365 project and keep pushing. A photo a day, every day, for 365 days is quite a challenge. The support was wonderful! I’ve also found that it’s kind of fun, pushing myself outside of my regular portrait work. I thought this would be a great avenue to share those photos.
I currently live in New Hampshire and my “day job” is as a professional in the lean and continuous improvement practices. I’ve lived in North Carolina and Texas after attending college in Indiana and growing up in Michigan. I really love to travel (both domestically and internationally), so I hope to share some images from my upcoming adventures. I almost always have my camera with me, conspicuously hidden in my large purse. I tried going without it for a while, but I felt like I lost a major limb or something!

Indonesia is most certainly on my travel list.
